John 9:13-15 NIVUK
13 They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. 14 Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man’s eyes was a Sabbath. 15 Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. “He put mud on my eyes,” the man replied, “and I washed, and now I see.”

I love this man, his replies to the Pharisees as they quiz him about Jesus are simple, true and at times very cutting and funny. He doesn’t have a grasp of theological language, not does he know much about Jesus, but that doesn’t mean that he has nothing to say. Like him, we may not feel that we are experts in the Christian faith, but we all have our stories to share. What’s your story? Don’t be shy to tell it, like this man, not one can take it away from you.

Thank you for what you have done in our lives! Give us the confidence to share our stories with others.
