Luke 2:7 NIV
[7] and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room at the inn.

No room…..what a missed opportunity for the innkeeper! No room at the inn, no room in the world, no room among his own but to as many as received him he gave and gives the right to be children of God!
The light has shined, new hope has come, life is freely offered, peace can be made because of this baby, this promised child, this new born King – Emmanuel, God with us!

From heaven you came, helpless babe,
Entered our world, your glory veiled;
Not to be served but to serve,
And give your life that we might live.
This is our God, the Servant King,
He calls us now to follow him,
To bring our lives as a daily offering
Of worship to the Servant King.
