Matthew 13:31-32 NIV
[31] He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. [32] Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

Here is a great encouragement! The smallest of seeds planted just where you are (“in his field”) growing into a place of rest and security! Today you may have the opportunity to sow a tiny seed – some small act of kindness or a friendly word, like a little boy sharing his sandwiches, and in Gods hand it grows into something wonderful! Don’t wait to do the massive good thing – God only needs a small seed!

Lord, help us to do those small things for you and to allow you to use them as you will.
