Psalm 95:1-7 NIV
[1] Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation
[2] Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. [3] For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods…….
[4] In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. [5] The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
[6] Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
[7] for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.
This God, whom we have worshipped this week is our God and that makes a massive difference to everyday life! You are never alone and you don’t face the future alone – we are the people of his pasture – the place where sheep are fed – and he will provide for us and protect us. We are the flock under his care and his care will never fail.
Lord, I come before Your throne of grace
I find rest in Your presence
And fullness of joy
In worship and wonder
I behold Your face
Singing, “what a faithful God have I”
What a faithful God have I
What a faithful God
What a faithful God have I
Faithful in every way
Lord of mercy, You have heard my cry
Through the storm You’re the beacon
My song in the night
In the shelter of Your wings
Hear my heart’s reply
Singing, “what a faithful God have I”
Lord, all sovereign
Granting peace from heaven
Let me comfort those who suffer
With the comfort You have given
I will tell of Your great love
For as long as I live
Singing, “what a faithful God have I”
