Lamentations 3:55-58 NIV
[55] I called on your name, Lord, from the depths of the pit. [56] You heard my plea: “Do not close your ears to my cry for relief.” [57] You came near when I called you, and you said, “Do not fear.” [58] You, Lord, took up my case; you redeemed my life.

Where do we look when the world seems a bit overwhelming? The Lord hears and takes up our case. So often God comes with the words “do not fear…do not be afraid…don’t let your heart be troubled…”  He loves you and cares more than we can imagine!

Father God, if you take up our case then all will be well. Give me patience to walk with you today and to see your redemption.
