Mark 2:8-9 NIV
Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things? [9] Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’?

The teachers of the law are testing Jesus, but in these words I can’t help but hear him testing them – ‘these are the options, what would you do to help this man?’ What can they say without exposing themselves or supporting him?

What would I do? Lord, help me to chose love today.
