Bible Reading: Phil. 3:13-14
13 …But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, 14 I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenwards in Christ Jesus.

The past is a place of both fond memories and regrets, but unlike in Doctor Who we can’t stay there or go back and change it. We do, however, have a glorious future to look forward to. Remember being a child and getting excited by the countdown to Christmas (how many days is it now?!) Perhaps this can spur us on to make the most of the time ahead, including today.

Show me Lord how I can use today to build towards your wonderful tomorrow!
