Acts 17:28 (NIVUK)
“For in him we live and move and have our being.”…

In his speech to the Athenians, Paul quotes this line from a Cretan poet, Epimenides (c.600BC) – as God has placed his image in all of us, it shouldn’t surprise us when we see glimpses of God and his Kingdom in art, music, film, poetry, writing and culture around us, even if the ‘artist’ isn’t themself a Christian. Keep your eyes open for such hints today. I love this one, what an amazing thought that we are totally and continually enveloped by God, sustained and directed by him.
