2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

On the M11 just north of Cambridge there’s a really strange junction. The two roads come alongside each other and drivers simply cross both ways, one to the other before the roads come apart. It’s a little like how this new life is brought about through Christ. As we draw near to him he draws near to us and then via the Cross we swap places; we cross over to become clean like him and he steps into our place, taking our sin, our damaged, broken, nature, upon himself so that he can overcome and destroy it.

Give thanks to Jesus for taking your place and offer to him those parts of your life that you wish him to deal with as your worship today.
